It was an easy enough request. That is to say, their father found it quite an easy request to make, despite how daunting the task was. Kill the King. Impossible. That should have been the end of it. But last words have a way of binding you to their will. Especially when the words come from one's own blood, so they hadn't much choice in the matter. They'd decided that the best way to do the job would be to get close to the royal family. And who was closer than those whose sworn duty was to guard them night and day? Join the Kingsguard, kill the King. Easy enough. But the empire is crumbling. Enemies from inside and out eagerly await the passing of the old King and the succession of the sickly Crown Prince. Killing the King might appease their father's ghost, but it will send the realm into chaos. It is a delicate tightrope. And one Eike must learn to balance upon. On one end, his duty to the realm, on the other, his duty to his father. One wrong move and it will all come falling apart. With war on the horizon. And as the followers of the Sun God Arram grow bolder with each passing day, there is a resurgence in the old plague. The shimmering sickness. Known to the common folk as the curse of Moon Eyes. **********What to Expect**********Slow Progression. Two styles of progression inspired by Bloodborne. Progression happens mostly in the background but has major implications.+Blood Transfusion +Insight
