The cost of magic is paid with the blood and bones of fae. Sealed into the land of Faerie by Wardstones, fae creatures are rarely seen roaming free in the world. A tired order of Wardens protects the Wardstones scattered throughout the continent. All magic bears a cost; humanity’s debt is due.
