The Cube

An ideal platonic hexahedron persists at the end of all things.  Once the greatest transmutation magus of their time, only in their perfected form have they survived when life, light, and magic has been expended. A portal from another reality delivers a quaint party of adventurers to the Cube's lonely existence.  With them springs wasteful torrents of sustaining power into a parched world.   The visitors seek adventure, monsters, and loot.  The Cube obliges. This is a test post.  Just a quick rough draft with a few more chapters to come.  Hopefully, we'll see how this all works.
