IMPERIUM is an epic fantasy tale with an ensemble cast, focusing on character driven stories, tense action scenes, and adult themes. There are currently four books completed comprising a total of around 600,000 words, with the 5th about 40,000 words complete. Expected length of the story would end around Book 7. Fans of A Song of Ice and Fire would likely enjoy this story, though this is less grimdark than ASOIAF though there are some similar adult themes... just not as graphic. ______ In the spiritual heart of the Damari Imperium, Kaen Varus has risen to the powerful triumvirate of the Blessed Masters, his gaze firmly upon the Ivory Seat, the throne of the Holy Advocate. And Carval, a Knight of the Dawn - the elite warriors of the church and entrusted deeply by the rising star of Inquisitor Varus - struggles with a crisis of faith, as he begins to wonder if he is on the right side of not only history, but morality itself.  There are signs that the Radiance is growing, that magic may becoming more prevalent, and with the current Holy Advocate’s health failing, many fear the zealot Varus could take the power of the Ivory Seat, a feat no inquisitor has ever achieved.
