Fade City was brought into reality when the first Fade King ran the best fade in reality, which resulted in the pocket dimension known as the Fade City, a place for a perfect fade to be ran. This also gave birth to a rare ability that only those with the soul of a warrior attain whenever they fight: A blinin. 50,000 years after this occurrence, everyone on earth praises the new reincarnated Fade King, Vaan Starr. Vaan rules with an iron fist over the world, but one group of true warriors all oppose his authoritarianism.
