The curse of the Wraithborne shall claim all who walk the path of blood, even the treacherous prince, Messmer of Argheim. For seven years since his exile, Messmer has paved the land with bodies, killing various warriors and rulers blessed by the so-called Gods from across the world. For the power of the Wraithborne is to gain power by shedding blood. But such power has a curse., a curse where one becomes more and more consumed by bloodlust before becoming an abomination, soulless, unthinking, only carving blood. Messmer begins to realize that he’s soon at risk of falling to the curse and sees his only path to salvation will be acquiring the sacred weapon of his ancestors, Argsvarzt Bene, the legendary black spear of Argheim emperors which has the power to save its wielder from the fate of the Wraithborne. However the spear is protected greatly within the capital of Argheim, and they would surely slaughter him if he even dared to step foot near it. With his life running short, Messmer forms a plan to steal the spear. He will travel across the lands to form a team of capable men for the most dangerous heist in history. However his reputation alongside his curse will certainly do him no favors and there will be many that stand in his path to the spear.
