In a world dominated by demons and hostile to human existence, a child emerges inexplicably. His strange birth is witnessed by only one person: Maria, a member of a group of wanderers, on a dark and rain-soaked night. Nothing about the child seems to belong to that world. He is too clean, too healthy, too full of smiles, as if the decay that consumes everything around him had never reached him. Inevitable questions arise: where did he come from? What is he? What is his purpose in that world? The situation grows even more complex when the group of wanderers who take responsibility for the child joins forces with warriors who refuse to do nothing but flee. They reject submission as destiny and choose to resist the cruelty that rules the world. What remains uncertain is what that child will come to represent to those around him, and, above all, what his existence will mean for a world ruled by demonic forces and by humans capable of equally profound horrors. -------------------------------------------------- Notes: - I’ll be releasing chapters daily until Chapter 5. Regarding the work itself: the beginning does not immediately present the typical traits of progression fantasy. Over time, however, the story will expand and gradually adopt that style in its broader scope. The early chapters may feel excessively cruel and deeply human, and that will not change, but additional elements will be introduced as the story unfolds.
