A Hobby No One Took Seriously

Hirano Chihiro is a 19-year-old girl with a hobby of researching cryptids. Her unusual interest mocked by society and becomes a source of concern and embarrassment for her parents, who worry about her future. When they attempt to arrange a safer path for her life, Chihiro chooses to leave home just before her final exam and live on her own. As the country sinks into economic crisis, she struggles to survive without qualifications, money, or support. But while others dismiss her passion as pointless fantasy, Chihiro begins to uncover something strange lurking beneath rumors, fear, and misinformation, proving that sometimes, the things people laugh at are the most dangerous to ignore.
