"What's in it for me?" She asked. He shrugged-the motion elegant, almost casual in it's grace, his voice nonchalant, "you live peacefully," a beat, his eyes met hers over the rim of his glass, "and might I add, secure your lifestyle for life." She crossed her arms over her chest, her voice low, knowing, "let's be honest." A smirk tugged at the edges of her lips, "I might lose my job if I don't follow with this arrangement but you?" She paused, letting the silence weigh down the air around them, "you lose your kingdom."
