Victor Hale studied fear for eight years. Now fear is all that keeps him alive. When Earth’s System Integration awakens a dormant trait inside him, Victor becomes Noxborne, a species fueled by terror. The power comes with an unending hunger. As his transformation accelerates, he must decide: feed on the fear of others or starve. With new phases approaching and deadlier threats emerging, Victor walks a razor’s edge between humanity and predation. He can choose who he feeds on. He just can’t choose what he’s becoming. A dark, psychological progression story loosely inspired by the boogeyman myth. Victor doesn’t haunt closets. He consumes fear itself, choosing when to be the monster and trying to stay human at least mentally.
