From Pokemart to World Champion

Once, 'V for Victory' echoed in the halls as two high school friends cheered each other on, fueling their ambitions with every chant. They belonged to two friends, two pieces of a whole group that could call themselves the school elites, those voted to most succeed. Graduation came and went for the two friends, while one prepared to stretch their wings and fly the other fell to a life of quiet mediocrity. A reason she refused to tell anyone. Fate, would have other plans and refused to just let such promise go to waste not just for her but every other trainer said to be her equal. This isn't just the story of how she clawed her way to the top, this is their stories, how these young men and women put their dreams on the line for a shot at greatness. Will they fade into obscurity or strand among and eventually surpass legends? Author Note: This is purely fanfiction. I do not nor will I ever own the IP Pokémon in any way, shape, form, or fashion, this piece was written for personal enjoyment and nothing more.  Few things to note. -I do stretch what a lot of Pokémon abilities can do, as I've added a lot of outside of battle effects. I've also just outright changed some abilities like Anticipation or Forewarn.  -The four move thing is strictly a video game balance and isn't taken here. -More anime move logic but not something like the Pikachu/Swellow thunder armor thing. Think more like combining hurricane with flamethrower.          - Chapter length will be more inconsistent than with my own personal work , they'll be as long or as short as needed as well as chapter release will be more inconsistent, although I will  always attempt for at least one a month.
