When his home is erased by the Sorrowscribe—a being who writes living ink into flesh and rewrites people into obedient monsters—Eldric survives by becoming something else entirely. Burned, broken, and reborn, Eldric is taken in by a small band of adventurers:a foxkin scout with a haunted bloodline,a warlock who has paid dearly for her power,and a veteran searching for a peace the world refuses to grant. As the Sorrowscribe’s influence spreads, the truth behind Eldric’s faith begins to unravel. Rebirth may be erasure. Power may demand the loss of everything that made him human. Hunted by Sorrowcursed knights who still remember who they were, and forced to face betrayal that cuts deeper than any blade, Eldric must decide what remains when everything else is burned away. This is a slow-burn, character-driven progression fantasy with a grimdark atmosphere, found-family dynamics, and a power system where every advancement costs something permanent.
