Orin, a boy from the slumps, contracts Higanbana. An airborne illness that travels through the lungs into the bloodstream. After contracting it the patient has a 1 minute 39 seconds window before their blood vessels pop and flower into spider lilies and they turn into a gate. However instead of turning into a gate Orin gets sucked into a gate and awakens into a guardian. A guardian is an awakened that is blessed by one of the 7 gods. He plans to use his new found abilities to kill his father who he blames for his tragic upbringing and his mother's death. However the system ruins his plans by thrusting him into a world of corruption, war and threats that sound unreal to even the system. But once a slum rat always a slum rat Orin refuses to let this grudge go. Ubdates every Friday, Saturday and Friday at 9pm GMT+2
