The World Where Everything Talks (And Won’t Shut Up)

Everybody thinks they know what's going on. Nobody does. Meet the people who held the door for the wrong person, agreed to the wrong thing, and showed up at the wrong time — handling it all with the kind of dignity that only makes everything worse. They meant well. They really did. There’s the plumber who spent forty minutes giving heartfelt marriage advice at a dinner party before anyone realized he was there to fix the sink. There’s the woman who delivered the most moving eulogy anyone had ever heard… for someone who was very much alive and sitting in the third row. There’s the man whose enthusiastic thumbs-up was interpreted as consent to something he still doesn’t fully understand. These are not stupid people. They are smart, reasonable, well-intentioned people… who happened to be missing one small piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately, it was a load-bearing piece. This is a comedy about the beautiful, inevitable, spectacular disaster of being a person who has to make decisions without all the facts — which, last time anyone checked, is literally everyone. You’ll laugh because you recognize these people. Mostly because one of them is you.
