Every choice closes other paths, and growth comes with psychological and moral decay - A blind protagonist with a unique perception system: The MC perceives reality through 'astris', a primordial energy, allowing her to sense intent, hostility, emotions, and power pressure. - A structured lore heavy power system: There's clear cosmic alignments all defined by the advancement ladder. Ensuring a weak to strong MC (No asspulls) - A setting that actively oppresses the characters: Like any Victorian Era story, there's bound to political influence, industrial era class divides and noble houses hoarding power - Meaningful side characters: They aren't there to be cheerleaders. There's clash of ideologies, they make independent choices and suffer the consequences just like the MC - Slow burn that pays off: As much as I enjoy action, but for a vast world like this one, a bit of foundation is necessary.
