Shattered Land [LitRPG System Apocalypse]

The Multiverse and the System are common knowledge, but that wasn’t always the case. There are those amongst the oldest and most powerful who remember a time when there was no magic, no skills, no mana and no System. They also remember the destruction and upheaval brought about by its arrival. It was a time of change and chaos, there was no one to guide them, no paths to follow and no idea of what to do next. The only way to survive to see tomorrow was to figure it out for themselves.   Jak was a city guard when the System first arrived. All he has in the face of the destruction of everything he knows, is a yearning to learn and a desire to see the world. This might just be his one chance to leave his old life behind and find the adventure he’s been looking for. He’ll need to keep his wits about him and his spear close though as monsters didn’t exactly exist yesterday. I've been a fan of the genre for quite a while now and was recently struck with the insiration to start writing this, I am fairly new to writing in general so any comments or suggestions on how to improve would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully I'll have an update for this every three days or so. In the mean time I hope you enjoy it. Just gonna tack this on the end but I'm aiming for about 1k+ words per chapter.
