The world has been ravaged by the apocalypse, turned to a vast desert. Only the remnants of humanity were left, using magic to rebuild the world. Outside of their city states, "bands of angels stalk the ridges at high noon, looking for the sick and the dying to separate from the herd and digest." Camael has spent his whole life in the city of Eden, learning magic and exploring his innate gifts. Inspired by the song "Not Entirely Alone" by The Narcissist Cookbook, also the source of the above quote.
