Three

Short story made under three minutes.  I am a father. Every evening, I check on my children before bed. Their room is always quiet, the soft glow of the TV spilling into the hallway. Lately, I’ve noticed a strange pattern. Every time I walk in, something on the screen catches my eye—three figures sitting silently at a table, their eyes following me. Three items arranged neatly on the floor, each glowing faintly. Three words whispered over and over in the anime dialogue, muffled but unmistakable, like they were speaking through me.
