As corporate interests push closer to Mercy’s borders and black-market tech begins rewriting bodies and minds, Trig and Oz are forced to decide what they’re willing to risk for each other—and for a city that survives by refusing to belong. This story contains explicit themes, violence, and queer and trans characters. Romance is central but not safe. Mercy does not offer happy endings—only earned ones.
