He helped her... but help, in his world, always comes with a price. A debt only Walkyria would decide when to repay. When Grey later invites her to join the Court, she accepts without fully understanding how dangerous that choice truly is. Only afterward does she learn what he really is: an Ascendant, and that his presence is as perilous as it is impossible to resist. Caught between missions, secrets, and relentless provocation, Grey comes to collect what he’s owed… while Walkyria struggles not to surrender to the pull that threatens to unravel the life she’s fought to build. A character-driven spin-off set in the Ascendants universe, focused on intense relationships and emotional tension.
