Peace was a lie paid for with genocide. Following the extinction of the beastmen, the balance of power lies shattered. Five superpowers vie for the resources of a dying world where magic clashes with physics and alien technology. While diplomats lie in the World Council, reality is defined at the borders: Humanity has traded swords for assault rifles and underground factories. The High Lineages (Elves, Vampires, and Demons) see their ancient domains threatened by industry and sabotage. And in the shadows, the Stranded calculate the odds of mutual annihilation from their silver metal bunkers. There are no heroes, only survivors in a gasoline-soaked powder keg.
