In a world of magic, demons, and angels, a demon flees Archangels through a forbidden forest, leaving his infant son Hikaru Dravenor on a guild's steps with a plea for a safe life. Adopted in a quiet village, Hikaru grows as a white-haired prodigy—brilliant but magic-less—befriending Sora (archer) and a stray dog he names Shiro. At age 10, his talents earn a Royal Academy recommendation, but a desperate act awakens forbidden resurrection magic: he revives Shiro after a brutal death. The village brands him a demon-child, his adoptive family sells him to slavers, and he's chained on a ship with Shiro. Escaping into a monster-guarded forest, Hikaru meets Liora—dual-dagger wielder with a split personality: shy and cautious one moment, bold and reckless the next, creating constant internal and external clash. Together they endure slavery, building walls against an ancient threat, while a vast guardian stirs in the depths. Hikaru's white magic flickers—uncontrolled, tied to emotion and desperation—hinting at a heritage that could shatter the world or save it.
