The truth is far stranger than anyone imagined. The intervention was not carried out by an alien empire, but by two humanlike beings who landed on Earth 700,000 years ago and survived in secrecy ever since. Peaceful yet overwhelmingly advanced, bound by the same physical laws as humanity, they step into the world alongside the cloned humans they created. Their appearance will shatter the existing order and usher in a new era for Earth. Humanity is no longer alone — and perhaps never was.
