Remnant Zero

Remnant Zero, set in Kurosaka, Xylem. A world that surfaced thousands of years after the Arctic thawed to the point of survivability. Xylem crawls with metahumans, androids, and cyborgs alike. Thriving, till the metropolis was slammed into the ground. Chromanic horrors, driven by the pain of their decaying code stability, terrorize the people of Xylem, turning the land into an infested blood bath of Code Destructive Disease. Circuits, derived by the cleansed essence of the infected, shield meta-humanity alongside their creators: the pupils of CuroCell-Tech, known as Ex-Panes. Year 3068. A dreadful cycle is set in stone, corruption spreading across the very tower of  CuroCell-Tech, the saviors that salvaged Xylem. A bond between Zusting-804, a Circuit born to the low-end Ex-Pane Asherest Sion, rises to the scene, changing the circuitry patterns and crushing the expectations set by the higher-ups and society alike. The bond devotes themselves to their shared goal of Chromanic annihilation, their relationship evolving past the line of chrome and creator.  A connection forbidden by fate itself.
