The true story (-ish) of what really happened to America's most infamous thief. Mere minutes after completing his legendary robbery, the man known to history as "DB Cooper" finds himself inside a strange underground maze full of magic and monsters, armed only with his wits, a half-loaded .22 revolver, and $200,000 in unmarked, non-consecutive one hundred-dollar bills. Cooper gets in trouble almost immediately when he is poisoned, captured and stripped of all his valuables. Then things get even worse when he makes the mistake of touching a powerful and very cursed magical staff, which welds itself to his hand. With no food, no clothes, no idea where he is, his right hand mostly useless now (because of the obscenely powerful magic staff stuck to it, which Cooper has no idea how to use), AND with the deadly curse on the staff slowly chipping away at both his health and his sanity, Cooper's only chance of survival is to do the one thing he hates most: working together with others. WHAT TO EXPECT: - A fast-paced story with decent jokes. - A surprisingly well-written, likable MC. - An extremely well-developed and somewhat mysterious dungeon based on ancient Greek, Chinese and Egyptian myths. - Lots of cursing.
