The Stellar Imperium conscripts the poor, feeds them a leveling system, and calls it honor. Lucian Kastor didn’t ask to be a Legionnaire. A forbidden Sigil brands him, drags him from the underhive of a dying station to a hollowed training moon where power comes only from killing and every level corrodes the soul. Refuse to fight and you’re executed. Level too far and you become Hollowed—an empty-eyed weapon serving the legions until death. Lucian levels anyway. He survives Trials, uncovers what the Imperium’s “gods” really are, and learns the system isn’t broken—it’s designed to consume its users. When escape fails and he’s thrown into an orbital colosseum, Lucian does the one thing the system can’t handle. He breaks it. Now hunted by the Legion, carrying a cracked Sigil that won’t let him level normally, Nero is something the Imperium has never seen: a character who refused the build. Dark sci-fi. Narrative RPG. Roman legions in space.
