In the world of Deviant, the year is 2055, and for ten years now, a company known as Ani-Corp have provided a procedure that alters the human form into that of anthropomorphic animals of the users choice, known publicly as furinoids. initially thought to be cosmetic, it becomes clear to many that there is more to being furinoid than just looking like an animal. Tales of the Cascade Failure is a collection of short side-stories to the main story of Deviant. It shows the pivotal Cascade Failure Event from multiple different perspectives.
