Celestial Unity: Darkest Light(Classic)

Celestial Unity is a amateur multi-genre superhero-sci-fi-fantasy franchise and shared universe.  The primary premise is that in a world that is similar to our own unless noted otherwise, 1 in 4000 humans are superhumans with a wide variety of superpowers, these powers are (naturally) genetically inherited and are typically expressed during puberty. There is also a powerful UN organization responsible for overseeing and managing superheroes. Called the International Superhero Organization or I.S.O. for short. The specific main setting of the story is Thunder City. A large and populous fictional city located in Maryland, east of Chesapeake Bay. Celestial Unity does also feature magic and aliens. Though this is emphasized less than superpowers. The primary alien organization that represents the extraterrestrials is called the Galactic Community or GC for short. Magic comes from accessing the Mirror Dimension of the Universe where magic is created and exists in harmony with the laws of Science. For Earth this place is called Counter-Earth. As one can tell, significant inspiration and terminology is lifted from higher profile IPs but Celestial Unity remains an original work with several spin-offs (Hence why this is called Classic) and Significant lore.  The main character of CU Classic is Dexter 'Dex' Steele aka the Shadow the story begins on May 2013 when he is 12 and ends on June 2019 when he is a little over 18. He starts off as an ordinary boy living as a side character in a universe dominated by superheroes fighting supervillains, alien raiders and black magic cultists, only to accidently trigger his powers and become a superhero himself, albeit, a vigilante as the ISO has a minimum age of 21 to become a registered superhero. His arch enemy is son of multimillionaires and super-genius Adrian Joon Muller aka the Phoenix. The Phoenix is the same age as Dexter and doesn't have powers but nevertheless manages to rapidly build a criminal empire called INFERNO and also build a power amour suit to battle superhumans. He keeps his true identity and age hidden from almost everyone, even the vast majority of his minions. As time goes on Shadow allies himself with other young superheroes alongside Maverick ISO subdivision Zeta to form the Apexes. While I consider Dex to be the undisputed main character the story does frequently changer POV so as a disclaimer, the multiple main characters tag has been checked.  Content is intended to be 13+. With some mature content but also some restraint in the writing, such as implicit or euphemized mature content, but lacking in explicit and or detailed descriptions of violence or sex. Mild and occasional swearing, but no uncensored strong swearing. Some series wide notes:  For the sake of simplicity, all characters are established as being born in either the month of May or June unless stated otherwise, this is not necessarily canon but it is done to make tracking age easier.   While English is the primary language of this work some foreign sentences are included, these will be translated in parentheses, note that google translate is used for this so apologies for inaccuracies.  The Post-Note will be used primarily to inform the audience of lore exposition that is not essential to the plot but would unnecessarily pad out the story to use exposition.
