Dead Air Out past memory, past reason—something waits in the static. A man wakes up in a place that shouldn’t exist, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. No name. No ID. Just a strange object pulsing with noise and the feeling he’s being led toward something. Elsewhere, a deep space vessel drifts—its mission critical, its crew fraying at the edges. An experimental drive has failed. Systems are breaking. And the black between the stars is getting colder. As fractured realities begin to bleed together, a mystery unfolds across minds, machines, and memory. The truth might save them. Or it might be what broke everything to begin with. (This is my first published story, all feedback will be much appreciated)
