The Shade of Us

The most powerful telescope ever built has been launched. It's capable of glimpsing the birth of the universe. While it drifts toward its destination, the man in charge of the mission lies in a hospital bed, trying to recover, whilst the shadows that appear in his room each night seem to have ulterior motives. Across town, at Sunny Meadow asylum, a therapist makes a breakthrough that seems to bend probability itself. But when multiple patients begin to echo the same impossible ideas, she begins to question everything she thought she understood about the mind. A woman who knows nothing other than pain and bad luck encounters a mysterious stranger with a secret past. A past that may hold the answers to why she is cursed. A retired boxer struggles to keep the bills at bay and the wolf from the door. When news arises that his wife is sick, he may have to fight for her life.
