What is the price of remaining alive in a world that should have already ended? Among the Cindar — a race shaped by the inheritance of multiple bloodlines from other peoples — Mékira and Fenalia carry destinies forged by what they are… and by what they inherited. Mékira was once a knight of the Cindarian royal guard, stripped of his title while still a child by order of the very princess he had sworn to protect. Years later, their paths cross once more during an assault on the land of Cerulean, homeland of the Cindar. When defeat seems inevitable, a Cindarian duelist emerges on the battlefield, accompanied by a strange ally with four arms — a trait identical to that of the Cindarian princess — bound to his back. Together, they turn the tide of the battle and, with it, the fate of the Queen of the Cindar herself.
