Eternally Tarnished Bronze

There were no greater people than the Dit'rans. They were the first, building golden cities across the world. Experts in culture, magic, and war. This world of Rantador, of Asuria as the Dit'rans knew it, was to be their paradise. Yet there are those who seek to corrupt every paradise, and so came the forces of Hell. Demons of every kind spilled from a wound in reality, and crushed the scattered Dit'ran clans.  It was Devakh ute Ditrazu, the Bronze Born Conquerer, Champion of the God of Duty and Authority that united the castes and led a final desperate offensive into the mouth of Hell. Thousands of years later, a slave named 21 found herself kicked from the brothel she was enslaved in, to die freely somewhere else. As the forces of Hell recover, Devakh is returned, and 21 is pulled into the fold. Author's note on AI: I have not used AI in the writing, development, planning, or editing of this story. Every word is typed by hand, with Grammarly used only for syntax and spell-checking. The entire literary process from brain to page is the result of a single human. However, you may have noticed I used AI for the cover image. While I have in the past commissioned art, my current financial position requires that all income be devoted to necessities.
