Lia just wanted a quiet life. Then some freak mystical event sucked her away from everything. Lia and Riley were opposites in every way. She has no weapon, no class, and no hope. Until she meets the ghosts. Guided by a Fallen Tactician who refuses to let her die and a spectral Smith who despises her amateur gear, Lia learns that survival isn't about leveling up. It’s about exploiting her access to magic outside the system's constraints. While she creates a family among the forgotten exiles of the Mists, she discovers a terrifying truth. The races of this world have a champion. Riley has been chosen as the "Hero of the Sun." Clad in golden armor and fueled by lies, she is on a quest to purge the "monsters" threatening the new world.
