Beautiful Joy

Beautiful Joy is story of a high school junior who learns about love by first learning to love her own body. Just as she starts to give up on trying to accept the way she looks, Joy's life turns upside down on the day she discovers a note in her locker from the most popular girl at her high school, who challenges her to a fight. As a bullied loner who lost all her "real-life" friends during middle school, she is suddenly revisited that same morning by childhood friends from her mysterious "other world" who are threatened by another unpopular loner at her school who wants Joy to join her in "the other world" full-time to escape the real world once and for all. As she tries to avoid conflict in both worlds, Joy soon realizes that the day will keep repeating itself in a time-loop until she finds her inner strength, faces her fears, and opens her heart to love.
