Escape to Star Valley is a long-form post-collapse novel about a small group of survivors who flee a dying city and attempt to build something human in the wilderness. What begins as survival becomes governance, then culture, then a confrontation with the world beyond their valley - and with the rot that destroyed the old one. It is a story about found family, moral injury, and the cost of rebuilding without becoming what you’re fighting.
