Stuck cycling through dead-end temp jobs and scraping together rent for her cramped apartment, she lives a quiet, isolated life; finding what comfort she can in her identity as a furry, wearing her German Shepherd ears and tail as a stubborn badge of pride in a world that never quite made room for her. Everything changes when she discovers a job listing for a receptionist at OtherWorlds Media: HELP WANTEDReceptionist / Front Desk OtherWorlds Media seeks a reliable, personable receptionist for front desk duties.Applicants should have strong organizational and clerical skills, and be comfortable working with the public, and with unusual co-workers. What begins as an improbable employment opportunity quickly becomes something stranger, and far more personal, as Olivia is drawn into a place where myths walk the halls, the impossible is treated as routine, and the world is far larger than she was ever told. At OtherWorlds Media, Olivia must learn not only how to navigate a station full of monsters, ghosts, and legends, but how to listen for the Signal that called her there, and decide what kind of life she wants to build once she answers it.
