Coming Soon by The Scriptorium Publishing Tennebris is a Diabli with no horns, broken wings, and the survival instincts of an alley cat. She's been a slave. A thief. A nobody sleeping in the dark alleys of a dying trade city.  When mutated insects suddenly swarm through Havenreach's gates, she does the smart thing and runs. Then she does the stupid thing and tracks them into the cursed jungle. What she finds there- a corrupted Apex Predator, obsidian mutations, and an underground harvesting operation run by insectoid monsters - should be someone else's problem.  But no one else showed up. So, Tennebris recruits a mercenary tracker, arms herself with a stolen bow, the only spell her Devil-Blood lets her cast, and gets to work. What To Expect:  Female Lead. No system. No Prophecy. Just grit, stolen weapons, and Devil-Blood fire magic. Tactical Combat. Fights are won with traps, positioning, and arrow counts not power levels. Found Family. A mercenary tracker, a guard captain's right-hand man, and a plant-person with zero chill Deep Worldbuilding. Competing races, a layered pantheon, a five-tier cursed jungle, and something very wrong deep underground. Mystery-Driven Plot. The monsters aren't the real threat. Someone is making them.
