BEAST

A Wolf given the name Volt wakes up with no memory of his past or himself. He is thrust into the life of a pack of dogs. Some nice, most aggressive, a lot disgustingly cruel. Mysterious lights open up from time to time, and any dog brave enough to enter may do so... But none ever come back out. Volt is drawn to these lights but is forbidden to enter one. Plus, he has bigger problems. He's attracted a lot of attention. Deadly attention from the other dogs: Because of his rank. As a newcomer, it is common to have a low rank. Volt has a rank three. Jealousy sets in, and conflict is foreseeable. And he's captured the attention of the Alpha himself, who has a pregnant mate. Volt has too many problems: Get a higher rank and don't lose it, stay away from the Alpha, forget his feelings for the Alpha's mate, and free a friend. But who's going to have to die for these problems to get solved?
