Leo Vance is an engineering dropout stuck in a dead-end job at Miller’s Scrapyard. He spends his days crushing cars and his nights worrying about bills. But when a mysterious blue interface appears before his eyes, Leo realizes his life is about to change. He has been chosen by The System. His class: The Crafter. Leo gains the power to access a spectral 3x3 grid where he can combine any items to create impossible technology. A rusted wrench and a flashlight become a high-tech multitool. A leaf blower and a box of nails become a lethal gatling gun. But power draws attention. The Copperhead Syndicate, led by the terrifying Level 12 User "Vargas"—a man who can manipulate luck itself—wants the scrapyard for a smuggling hub. And somewhere in the shadows, a black-ops unit known as The Debuggers is hunting down System Users to "delete" the glitches. Outgunned and outleveled, Leo has to do the one thing he knows best: Build. With the help of a rogue hacker, a captured spec-ops soldier, and a giant scrap-metal golem named The Warden, Leo turns his junkyard into a fortress. In a battle between supernatural Luck and cold, hard Engineering, Leo is about to prove that with enough duct tape and mana, you can fix anything—even a broken world.
