A lifetime of abuse culminates in a young man's act of patricide. After killing his father in self-defense, Vince Castle goes on the run, trying to figure out what he'll do next with his life. Will he turn himself in? Will he turn the same gun on himself? Or will he build a new life for himself with a new name? All the while, tortured by his inner demons, he ponders the life experiences and choices that led him to that moment.
