All he has left of his former life are haunting flashes of imagery that plague his dreams and echoing voices he hears but cannot see. Monson quickly forms friendships with two classmates, Casey and Artorius, each carrying secrets of their own. As increasingly bizarre events begin to unfold around them, Monson starts to question what lies buried in his mind—and whether he will ever be able to trust his new friends with the truth of his fears. Together, the three navigate the halls of one of the most prestigious schools in the country, finding friendship, mystery, love, and answers to their algebra homework, all while slowly peeling back the layers of Monson’s shadowy past.
