A child is born in a small village that is the subject of a great prophesy, and will cause her people to be abandoned by their goddess and survive, or to keep true to themselves and their goddess but possibly be destroyed in the process. The child's family and allies seek a solution to survival involving a quest for information that is hidden, while vast enemy powers seek the child for themselves throwing the people of The Six-tribes into a war of survival that can only stall the inevitable defeat.
