by Veracity the first
A dragon born in a pond may rule its waters—but it still needs a catalyst to ascend. Vera stood unrivalled. Across the Five Planes, no master could match his blade; no challenge could humble his spirit. He believed his strength was the result of a relentless pursuit. He believed he had reached the peak. He was wrong. When a mysterious encounter leaves him face-to-face with a power that defies logic, Vera's certainty shatters. He realises the bitter truth: he wasn't strong because of the path he walked. He walked it because he was already strong—effectively trapping himself beneath a ceiling of his own ego. Now, having glimpsed the blinding light of the Greater Heavens, Vera chooses to confront his own insignificance. To break the limits he unknowingly imposed and challenge the Guardians that stand as the ultimate gatekeepers of reality. He is no longer fighting to survive. He is fighting to transcend. What to expect: Hard Cultivation/Progression: Detailed martial arts and internal energy mechanics. Mirroring that of "Regressor's Tale of Cultivation". Philosophical Stakes: A protagonist forced to deconstruct his own identity to grow. Epic Scale: From the "pond" of the Five Planes to the cosmic heights of the Greater Heavens. Upload schedule: Everyday at 4:30 PM UTC, weekends occasionally (will leave a note on friday if otherwise)
