Freedom! Well… for Lyra, that hasn’t really been a thing. And not just because she’s been locked in her room for years on end either surviving pandemics. Whether it was family, school, or anything else, she never quite found the freedom to be herself. But finally—finally—she can go out into the world and achieve freedom. The freedom to be hit by a crazy man in a truck and wake up in an egg. What? Yeah, okay, reincarnation is a weird way to get freedom. But it still beats rotting in a pot of boiling oil for eternity or some such. Lyra decides that this next life will be different. She’s not going to let it rust away. This time, she’ll be forged anew. Roll Credits! No seriously, what do you mean there’s no metal? I just made this forge yesterday! Join Lyra on her grand adventure of finding slightly colored rocks, dealing with nagging priestesses, oafish tribal chieftains, stand-off-ish dwarves, and—yes—slaying a world-destroying dragon or two.
