Nagia never doubted which world she preferred, the real or the virtual. Being wheelchair-bound is hard. Living as an antisocial 16-year-old with her mother as her only friend is hard. In the other world, though, she is a space dragon of 2 centuries and known throughout the galaxy for her war efforts. If she can shed reality for fiction, she will. Until she meets Brianna, and makes a mistake that costs each of them the future they envisaged. Drowning in a vortex of yearning and jealousy, Nagia must give up everything for Brianna's sake to right her wrongs, but when it becomes easier to be real and harder to be free, Nagia has to decide who she really is and what her heart desires, before she forgets what it means to be alive.  A mix of sci-fi and les-fic, Nagia's story is one of grief, healing, and growing up in a world that feels too alien to be yours.
