The mirrors remember every crossing. Unfortunately, they remember Dorian Corvell. The countless worlds of Mireth are connected by mirrors, and only Mirrorwalker blood can open them. Dorian Corvell crosses them for money. When the Great Council offers ten thousand credits to travel to the Loteri Lands and speak to the Drommala, he takes the contract. He was not their first choice. The Mirrorwalker sent before him has vanished. By the time Dorian arrives, the Drommala is already dead. Strange runes mark her body, the Loteri suspect murder. Meanwhile, across Mireth, other Mirrorwalkers are disappearing. His guide dislikes him. His healer is becoming a problem. And the contract is becoming something much larger than he was paid for. Dark queer fantasy spanning ancient forests, vampire lands and worlds of brass and steam, with blood-opened mirrors, mystery, romance, sex, dry humour, and questionable decisions. New chapters weekly. For my life partner. We shared more than two decades of a wonderful life together. You passed away suddenly, far too soon. You were my best supporter, the inspiration behind my writing, and the love of my life. You will always be the one. This series is for you.
