CALM

For a generation, the realm has known peace.Four great houses govern a shared land—one of them divided against itself. Borders have held. Treaties have endured. Power has been balanced through restraint, not bloodshed. Conflict, when it appears, is measured, distant, and contained. Then something shifts. Quiet decisions begin to strain what was never tested by war. Fractures widen where none were meant to exist. Alliances bend under the weight of secrets, ambition, and choices made too carefully to be questioned. This is a story of power and consequence—of leaders trying to preserve families, kingdoms, and oaths while preparing for a future they were never meant to face. Soldiers begin to march. Mages calculate. Dancers fight. And rulers learn that peace does not prevent conflict—it only delays the moment when restraint fails. CALM is a long-form epic fantasy told through multiple houses and perspectives, blending political tension, intimate character drama, and the slow collapse of a peace that believed itself permanent. The calm was real. So is what comes after.
