A goddess grants two wishes to a prince and his closest friend. The prince asks for something very specific:a bride who is beautiful, bold, provocative in character, and who will also serve as his personal bodyguard. His best friend, a scribe, asks for a very different wish:to travel twenty years into the past while retaining all of his memories, in order to gain an advantage over fate. The goddess grants both wishes. The scribe awakens twenty years earlier, in the body of an eight-year-old child.Everything seems normal… except for one impossible detail to ignore:he is now a girl. Her new name is Ariadna. And with her memories intact, the past is no longer the same.
