Magic is a death sentence. Lavender has survived by hiding hers.  That stops working the day a dragon finds her. Now hunted and dragged into a conflict far bigger than herself, Lavender must grow stronger fast or lose everything.  But power in the ashes of a ruined world never comes freely.
