Richard Serdin died in the mud. He was the only son of the legendary Archmage, Duke Voltair Serdin--and the sole heir of Frostpeak. But when Richard inherited the title, his lack of experience destroyed everything he held. Betrayed by his ministers and hunted by every crown in Zogria, he fled to the far south, to a forgotten town meant for outcasts. There, Richard was no longer a Duke.
